The Old Pottery Place is a popular and historically significant commercial site on South Coast Highway near downtown Laguna Beach. Toal Engineering participated in the renovation of the historic commercial site, which included construction of a two-level parking garage with second-story offices, improvements to the existing street frontage and the alley splitting the site, public and private drainage system improvements, stormwater treatment devices, public and private fire system improvements, new site hardscape improvements, and careful renovation of the existing buildings in compliance with the Secretary of the Interior’s specifications for historic structures. We provided Land Surveying and Civil Engineering services for the duration of the project, from topographic survey through design to final certification.
